Fluid Maintenance

Oil and Oil Filter Service
Experts recommend changing the oil and oil filter in your vehicle every 3 months or 3,000 miles on gas engines, which ever is first, or every 5,000 miles on diesel engines. It’s an essential way to maximize engine protection. Oil changes at 7,500 miles are usually too long an interval for most common driving conditions.

Cooling System Service
Flush cooling system, pressure test, and check hoses, cap and connections annually.

Air Conditioning Service
Inspection of your car’s air conditioning system, including all A/C lines, evaporator and compressor for leaks and wear.

Driveline Service
Replacing worn out gear oil from the front and rear differential and transfer case every 60,000 miles is recommended under normal driving conditions.

Fuel Injection Service
This service should be performed annually to improve vacuum and engine performance, helping to eliminate rough idle and hesitation. Chemical injection is used to clean harmful carbon buildup from injectors, valves, oxygen sensors and catalytic convertors. Finally, a fuel tank additive completes the service, keeping gasoline stable, removing moisture, preventing rust and corrosion in the fuel tank and lubricating the fuel pump and fuel supply lines.

Transmission Service
Servicing your transmission every 30- to 60,000 miles can greatly increase the life and performance of your vehicle’s transmission. Removal of the transmission oil pan is necessary to inspect for excess sludge or metal, which is an indicator of the overall condition and health of your transmission.
Replacing the filter, both internal and external (where applicable) are required. A full inspection for leaks or damage to the transmission assembly is included. After resealing the transmission oil pan, we refill with manufacturer approved fluid or equivalent and test drive.

De-Carbon Service
This annual service increases vacuum and engine performance, helping to eliminate rough idle and hesitation. Our technician will manually clean the throttle body and throttle plate, in addition to a vacuum service of the upper intake, exhaust and intake valves, as well as the combustion chamber, using the latest in state-of-the-art technology fluids. This effectively cleans and suspends carbon and sludge, removing the harmful deposits left behind from the additives that do not completely burn away in the fuel of today.

Engines
Our technicians specialize in engine repair and maintenance of all makes and models of vehicles, import or domestic. Replacement or overhaul of the engine may be necessary in some cases. If so, we will provide the most professional and timely turnaround possible keeping you informed and up to date on the progress of the repair. Depending on the options you choose, we can offer up to a three year unlimited mile warranty on your new engine.

Transmissions
The majority of cost in repairing or replacing a transmission is in removal and replacement of the transmission casing and components. However, not every transmission issue requires removal and overhaul. Our ASE Certified Technicians are able to diagnose the difference between a minor transmission problem and a major internal issue. We diagnose and repair all transmissions In-House. Rebuild and overhaul is done in our Clean Room built for the purpose of repairing your transmission.
